Accord Guard is a free Chrome extension that helps protect sensitive information when using supported generative AI tools. It detects and replaces sensitive identifiers locally before submission.
02Do I need an account?
No. Accord Guard for Individual does not require an account, sign-in, or subscription.
03Does Accord send my prompts or files to its servers?
No. Accord Guard for Individual performs its sensitive-data protection locally on your device. Prompt contents, uploaded files, detected identifiers, and replacement values are not sent to Accord servers as part of the protection workflow.
04What file types are supported?
Accord currently supports PDF, DOCX, XLSX, and CSV files.
05How do I disable Accord?
Open the Accord Guard side panel and turn Protection off using the protection toggle.
06How do I change what Accord protects?
Open Protection Settings in the Accord Guard side panel and enable or disable the available sensitive-data categories.
07Which AI sites are supported?
The current production build supports ChatGPT at chatgpt.com.
